Binance is the world's largest cryptocurrency trading platform by volume. To buy and sell digital assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum on it, the first step is to register an account.
The entire registration process takes about ten minutes. Just follow the steps below.
Preparation
Before registering, prepare the following:
- An email address (Gmail or Outlook recommended)
- Your ID card
- A mobile phone
Registration Steps in Detail
Step 1: Open the registration page
Register on Binance to access the official registration portal. The page will let you choose between email or phone number registration. Email is recommended.
Step 2: Fill in your information
Enter your email address and password. Password requirements: at least 8 characters, including uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and numbers.
Step 3: Verify your email
After submission, Binance will send a verification email. Open it and click the link. If you do not receive it, check your spam folder.
Step 4: Identity verification
After logging in, proceed to identity verification. Upload photos of the front and back of your ID card, then complete facial recognition. Approval typically takes just a few minutes.
Security Settings You Must Not Skip
Once registration is complete, security settings are essential:

Google Authenticator: Download Google Authenticator, scan the QR code provided by Binance to link it. Every login and withdrawal will require entering the dynamic code.

Anti-phishing code: Set a secret word that only you know. Every real email from Binance will display this word. Emails without it are fake.

Bind your phone number: Adds an extra layer of verification for safer withdrawals.
Registration Troubleshooting
Can I register with a QQ email? Yes, but QQ email sometimes has delays receiving verification codes. Use Gmail if possible for the best reliability.
KYC photos keep getting rejected? When taking photos, ensure: good lighting, all four corners of the document visible, no glare, and do not use screenshots.
Can one ID only register one account? Yes, Binance enforces a one-person-one-account policy.
How soon after registration can I trade? Immediately after KYC approval, which usually takes no more than 15 minutes total.
